Yara have announced that their My Yara portal will now work with Muddy Boots’ Greenlight Grower Management platform, offering customers seamless integration for additional feedback and recommendations.
“ Until now, farm planning software has been quite static and reactive,” says Mark Tucker, Agronomy & Business Development Manager at Yara UK. “The combined functionality of My Yara and Greenlight Grower Management turns this into a fully dynamic process. For the first time, agronomists and farmers can use real-time suggestions and insights to make crop management decisions that lead to the most profitable output.”
The new functionality will make it possible for growers to get field specific fertilizer recommendations based on information already entered in Greenlight Grower Management. Customers not on the system can still however make use of these NMP (Nutrient Management Plan) advanced capabilities and receive recommendations by entering information through My Yara online.
“This connectivity makes it easier for farms to get the best advice, and stops repetitive data entry in multiple systems,” said Paul Thomas, Business Development Manager at Muddy Boots. “Farmers will receive personalised nutrient requirements for each crop and field, full traceability and fertilizer plans to match specific requirements. Greenlight Grower Management is already a unique service and further developments will soon bring a revolutionary approach to UK farmers.”
My Yara is open to users now and the complete functionality of the integration with Muddy Boots will be made publicly available for the upcoming season.
